Meet the Judges

Izabela Minkiewicz, Founder of Blue Almonds
Izabela Founded Blue Almonds in 2007 when she started to discover the wonderful but challenging realities of having children.
Scouring the world for unique and beautiful baby products, Izabela offers them to her discerning clients in a wonderfully calming environment at her Walton Street boutique in London.
Recognising the need to support small brands trying to navigate the scary journey of retail, she built 'House of Blue Almonds' to showcase and encourage the best in baby brands.

Nicola Perring, Founder of THE NEST
Nicola Perring is the founder of THE NEST, a leading retail consultancy dedicated to transforming the global children's industry into the first truly sustainable, ethical, and circular category.
With over 35 years of experience in brand, retail, and product strategy, Nicola partners with purpose-driven businesses from emerging start-ups to international manufacturers, helping them embed conscious practices into every layer of their operations.
Nicola has been instrumental in helping House of Blue Almonds become a reality.

Bonita Turner, Editor of Junior Magazine
With over 25 years publishing experience, Bonita began her career working as a Fashion Stylist and Fashion Editor at titles including Woman and NOW! magazine. When she had her daughter in 2012, Bonita set up parenting blog MamasVIB (Very Important Baby) and was nominated for several blogging awards.
Bonita took the helm as Editor at Junior Magazine in 2017, successfully transforming the website into the glossy parenting site it is today, increasing page traffic and growing the social community. She also pushed the annual Junior Design Awards into a successful B2B franchise that sees over 300+ brands enter for a coveted JDA logo, now one of the most prestigious awards in the children's lifestyle sector.

Ellie Thompson, Editor at My Baba
Ellie Thompson is a writer, podcaster and digital content strategist, and the Editor-in-Chief of My Baba, a leading UK parenting and lifestyle platform. She's also a devoted mum to Maddie, 8, and Billy, forever 4, who passed away from DIPG in 2024.
In Billy’s memory, Ellie founded and serves as a trustee of Billy’s Battalion, a newly registered charity dedicated to raising awareness and vital funds for research, so that no other parent has to hear the words, “There’s nothing we can do.”
With over a decade of experience connecting family-focused audiences with trusted advice and brands, Ellie combines editorial expertise with heartfelt advocacy — using her voice to inspire, inform, and drive change.

Camilla Stewart, The Bump Class
Camilla hosts The Bump Class' 8 week antenatal classes at The Portland Hospital, as well as Partner’s Evenings. She is passionate about supporting new mothers and mothers-to-be, as well as helping others find their tribe.
She has four children, Gus, Honor, Jasper and Hamish (twins), all within four years, so knows how important evidence based, non judgemental advice is in the early years. She also has plenty of hands on experience and practical advice!
Founded in 2013 by sisters Dr Chiara Hunt and Marina Fogle, The Bump Class offers what The Times described as “a revolutionary concept”. Our antenatal classes are packed with information from professionals, experts in their field who not only have a wealth of information but are also great teachers.
