The House of Blue Almonds: Announcing Our Winners
At Blue Almonds, we’re passionate about discovering beautiful new brands that share our values — thoughtful craftsmanship, timeless design, and a heartfelt commitment to quality. Earlier this year, we launched The House of Blue Almonds, an exciting initiative to spotlight emerging baby brands by giving them the chance to appear in a pop-up at our Chelsea boutique.
We were overwhelmed by the calibre of entries — from meaningful missions to charming aesthetics, every brand brought something truly special. It was no easy task for our panel to choose, but after careful deliberation, we are delighted to announce our three winners.
The Winners
Gooseberry Fool
“Wonderfully crafted, sustainable babywear with a timeless, heirloom quality that aligns perfectly with Blue Almonds’ values of luxury, care, and conscious living — with the added beauty of giving back, as the founder actively supports ethical production and charitable causes.”

We look forward to welcoming Gooseberry Fool to our store in late September — stay tuned for more details.
Maison Juli
“Fun, distinctive art prints with great opportunities for personalisation. We know our well-travelled clients will love the iconic locations depicted in the charming artwork.”

A perfect blend of whimsy and wanderlust.
Marbra
“Marbra’s strengths are comfort, innovation, and glowing customer testimonials. We’re excited to offer something that supports the wellbeing of new and expectant mothers.”

A beautiful addition to our curated selection for mothers and babies alike.
Each of these brands represents something unique and inspiring — and we can’t wait to introduce them to our community.
Our Runners Up
We also want to acknowledge our runners up who impressed the judges and truly deserve recognition:
Lalela: Pyjamas adorned with artwork by children from under-resourced communities — with profits supporting arts education. A brand with a strong social mission and real heart.
Lulu Hayes: A lovely UK-based label featuring fun, playful prints and standout baby styles like rompers and dungarees.
Kiraz Baby & Kids: Thoughtful, family-run, and committed to sustainability — a delightful entry with strong design credentials.
And finally, a special mention goes to the founder of House of Noah, who missed the judging day for the most joyful reason — giving birth just the day before! We send our warmest congratulations and hope to see House of Noah return in the next competition.
'Thank You' Judges
None of this would have been possible without the generous time and thoughtful insights of our brilliant panel of judges. Our sincere thanks go to:
- Izabela Minkiewicz – Founder of Blue Almonds
- Nicola Perring – Founder of The Nest
- Bonita Turner – Editor of Junior Magazine
- Ellie Thompson – Editor at My Baba
- Camilla Stewart – Managing Director of The Bump Class
Their expertise, warmth and encouraging feedback made this process incredibly rewarding for everyone involved.
What’s Next?
We’re so excited to welcome Gooseberry Fool to the store in late September, and we’ll be sharing updates soon about when Maison Juli and Marbra will be featured in-store.
Thank you to everyone who applied — it’s clear there is a growing wave of beautiful, ethical, and inspired baby brands out there. The future is bright, and we’re honoured to play a small part in nurturing it.
